The Middle Room is a contemporary female-focused gallery located in the heart of Atwater Village in Los Angeles. Created in 2023 by Artist, Educator, Curator and Arts Administrator Shannon Rae Fincke to give support and exhibition opportunities to local and national artists, The Middle Room concentrates on showing often overlooked mid-career women artists, and on creating connections and conversation, building community, and expanding awareness, inquiry, dialogue, integrity, and education. Our exhibition space cohabitates with Institute for Visual Arts on Glendale Boulevard, and is open for events, on weekend afternoons from 1-3, and by appointment.
