The Middle Room is a contemporary female-focused gallery located in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Founded in 2023 by Artist, Educator, Curator, and Arts Administrator Shannon Rae Fincke to give support and exhibition opportunities to local and national artists, The Middle Room concentrates on often overlooked mid-career artists, and on creating connections and conversation; building community; and expanding inquiry, awareness, and education. Our exhibition space cohabitates with Institute for Visual Arts on Glendale Boulevard and is open while exhibitions are on view for events, by appointment, and on weekends from 1-3pm.
